Pathology:

Cough, bronchial asthma, acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis and its exacerbations, bronchial catarrh, mucoviscidosis and bronchiectasis, sinusitis.

Notes:

RIBES NIGRUM: The buds rich in essential oil, flavonoids and glycosides, act as stimulants of the adrenal glands in the production of cortisol, an endogenous cortisone that helps the body react to inflammation. VIBURNUM LANTANA: In phytotherapeutic practices only leaves and berries are used. Lantana has virtues: astringent, refreshing, spasmolytic, anti-allergic and sedative. It is effective in various diseases of the respiratory system, including bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and dyspnea. HEDERA HELIX: Saponins are responsible for the expectorant activity that leads to the fluidification of catarrhal secretion that weighs on the respiratory system. Ivy extract is recognized for its spasmolytic action. HELYCHRISUM ITALICUM: Today’s clinical studies have demonstrated the usefulness of helichrysum in diseases of the respiratory system both allergic and infectious, justified by the presence of essential oils (neroli, neril acetate, alpha and beta pinene, geraniol, sesquiterpenes, furfural, eugenol), flavonoids (narigenin, apigenin, campferol, helichrysin, quercetin) and triterpenes (alpha amyrin, ursolic acid, boswellic acid ), elipirone, sitosterol, caffeic acid. These active ingredients in their synergistic action give the plant antihistamine, anti-inflammatory, expectorant and antibacterial properties. ROOSE: small fruits (berries) of rosehip are considered the most concentrated “natural sources” in Vitamin C, present in quantities up to 50-100 times higher than oranges and lemons, therefore able to contribute to strengthening the body’s natural defenses . PLANTAGO MAJOR: The plantain leaves contain iridoid glucosides, flavonoids (luteolin), mucilages, tannins, pectins, salic acid, mineral salts. The presence of these active ingredients gives the plant bechic, expectorant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, astringent properties. Used effectively also in inflammatory states of the skin and mucous membranes, lining the mouth, throat and respiratory tract in general, in case of cough, bronchial catarrh, chronic bronchitis, allergy, sinusitis; and for inflammations of the urogenital system; in the presence of allergic reactions and bacterial infections, thanks also to the antiseptic action, exerted by phenolic acids. N-ACETYL L-CYSTEINE: Proven to be active as Mucolytic has long been used as an active ingredient of some drugs indicated in the treatment of respiratory diseases that cause thick and viscous hypersecretion of phlegm, such as acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis and its exacerbations, pulmonary emphysema, mucoviscidosis and bronchiectasis.
