Pathology:

Vitamin deficiencies of group B (SEE NOTES). All deficiencies of B vitamins lead to graying and hair loss and other problems.

Notes:

The symptoms of deficiency of VITAMIN B5 (pantothenic acid) range from intestinal atony to decreased resistance to infectious diseases and strange sensations of itching and burning. This vitamin is often referred to as the anti-stress vitamin because the adrenal glands need it and, as is known, these protect man from all sorts of stress, both physical and mental. Taking vitamin B5 helps man to face long periods of stress with less suffering and waste of energy. It is necessary for the organic immune system and also for the normal functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, it is useful in the nocturnal grinding of the teeth. Vitamin B5 is vital for normal reproduction, Roger J. Williams writes at Nutrition Against Disease that “there are good reasons to believe that a number of failures in human reproduction (stillbirths, premature deliveries, physical or mental handicaps of newborns) are due to the lack of vitamin B5 during gestation”. The name pantothenic derives from the Greek pantos which means “everywhere”, precisely because this vitamin is found in all living cells. This vitamin performs its function in the highest degree when combined with other vitamins of the same B complex. Useful in decreased resistance to infections, muscle cramps (combine with Magsol 5 Extra or Herbosol Ca), arthritis, fatigue, constipation, stress, protects against radiation damage, bruxism (teeth grinding). When VITAMIN B6 (pyridoxine) enters the body, it is transformed, with the help of vitamin B2, into the coenzyme pyridoxal phosphate, which is essential as an activator of a large number of enzymes, which in turn govern a wide range of systems useful for the preservation of health in our organism. If adequate amounts of vitamin B6 are administered, much of the homocysteine produced is converted into cystathione, an important natural antioxidant. Vitamin B6 can also intervene in maintaining the body’s immunity to cancer and in the prevention of dental caries, useful in diabetes, arteriosclerosis, asthma, acne, schizophrenia, leg cramps, nausea and vomiting related to pregnancy, menstrual symptoms (swelling and pain), menopausal symptoms, seborrhea, kidney stones. The pill hinders the assimilation of different vitamins, such as E and C, but in particular, there is a vitamin that is literally “burned” by the use of the pill: it is Vitamin B6. “This substance, among other things, acts at the level of brain neurotransmitters, participating in the synthesis of serotonin, the hormone of relaxation and good mood: for this reason the pill can also cause depression and mood swings“, therefore, enriching the diet with vitamin B6 is the first strategy to be implemented to counteract these unpleasant effects. The VITAMIN B2 (riboflavin) presides over the metabolism of lipids, such as fatty acids. It is a component of the eye pigment, where it participates in the process of adaptation to light, it is also necessary for the metabolism of tryptophan, a natural amino acid, essential for a correct nitrogen balance in adults. Useful in conjunctivitis, cataracts, chapped lips and mouth, skin lesions, anemia, personality disorders, fatigue, stress, alcoholism and in preventing birth defects. VITAMIN B1 (thiamine) improves the functioning of the digestive system, tones the muscles of the stomach and intestines and has often been used successfully to heal cases of stubborn constipation. Vitamin B1 is of primary importance for enzymatic reactions, which supply energy to the nerves and brain and also for the formation of Acetylcholine, a compound involved in the transmission of nerve impulses, it is important for maintaining a healthy heart and stimulating and transmitting nerve impulses. VITAMIN B12 (cyanocobalamin) is vital in the process of blood formation; Folic acid deficiency anemia is similar to vitamin B12 deficiency anemia. This vitamin plays a vital role in maintaining normal red blood cell formation and the integrity of the nervous system, is also essential for human growth and has a primary role in the synthesis of nucleic acid and is indirectly involved in the process of composition of folic acid, in the metabolism of carbohydrates and contributes to the utilization of fats; not to forget its intervention in neural functions and in the maintenance of nerve cells. Useful in pernicious anemia, nervous disorders, for growth stimulation, strengthening the immune system and in mental illness.
