Notes: The hydroalcoholic solution was carried out with the alchemical spagyric method of Solanimus (TSA) which includes all the phases of classical spagyria with the final addition of a specific phase of alchemical philosophy. The TSA of Alchemilla vulgaris is obtained by macerating the tops, freshly harvested in their balsamic time, in a solution composed of spagyric alcohol and water, following the Spagyric-Alchemical method of Solanimus. The plant is also known as the “Alchemists’ Grass” as the Alchemists collected the dew (celestial water) that was deposited on it and then used it to search for the philosopher’s stone and to try to prepare the “Elixir of long life“. The plant contains tannic substances, mucilaginous gums and salicylic acid and has astringent, decongestant, antidiarrheal, haemostatic, diuretic and digestive properties. Due to the sedative-analgic properties, attributed in part to the flavonoids contained in the plant, it can be used in the general treatment of pain, especially in dysmenorrhea. The tincture is also used for external use in sores and ulcers, by virtue of diluted tablets in a ratio of one to four (one part tincture and three parts sterile distilled water) to be applied to the parties concerned twice a day; in leucorrhoeas and vulvar itching wetting the affected parts two to three times a day with a solution as above (1:4) and in pharyngitis by gargling two to three times with a solution with a ratio of 1:3.
