Pathology:

Fibromyalgia, rheumatic pain, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, abdominal pain of a neurological nature.

Notes:

PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) is a fatty acid with proven anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties, particularly at the level of the Nervos Systemor. PEA is useful in chronic pain conditions such as rheumatic diseases, for example Fibromyalgia. It is also indicated in chronic visceral pain, endometriosis and interstitial cystitis. PEA is able to intervene on neuroinflammation and interact with cannabinoid receptors by favorably modulating inflammation and the nociceptive impulse, i.e. the set of nervous structures that serve to receive, transmit and modulate painful stimuli and impulses. BETA-CARYOPHYLLENE is a terpene, synthesized by some plants such as Cannabis sativa and Piper nigrum. This molecule has numerous pharmacological properties, the most relevant are anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, antioxidant, gastroprotective. It has the ability to act as an agonist (at the level of the Endocannabinoid System) of the CB2 receptors present in the immune system, bones, skin and glial cells of the nervous system. It does not bind to CB1 receptors and is therefore not psychotropic. The role of CB2 receptors in nociception is widely documented, so the pain-relieving capacity of this molecule is not surprising. More and more evidence is emerging on the use of Beta-Caryophyllene in the integrated care of numerous chronic diseases. GRIFFONIA SIMPLICIFOLIA is a plant from Africa, it is used because its principles include 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HT), a precursor of serotonin, a neurotransmitter responsible for mood at the level of the central nervous system. Low levels of 5-HT are associated with various forms of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, headache and insomnia, particularly with regard to the circadian cycle. We know that 5-HTP is also the precursor of melatonin, a hormone essential for good quality sleep, its function as a brain detoxifier is also interesting. Finally, 5-HTP is also effective in colitis with abdominal pain of a neurological nature. There are countless properties of GYNOSTEMMA PENTAPHYLLUM (also called Jaogulan), already known at the time of the Ming dynasty (1300 BC) and cited as “the herb of immortality”. Gynostemma, rich in triterpenic saponins, various flavonoids and gypenosides, is a powerful anti-inflammatory capable of reducing pain and inflammation. The plant also has adaptogenic properties, i.e. capable of modulating the body’s resistance and defenses, stimulating it to respond to stressful situations. Increases the immune system, reduces cholesterol and blood sugar levels and fights free radicals by carrying out an important anti-aging action. The active ingredients present in the leaves of the plant act in different parts of the body and reduce pain: headaches, rheumatic pains, etc. Most of its “beneficial” effects come from the induction of antioxidant enzymes and the protection of cells from oxidative damage over time. Gynostemma protects and cleanses the body from toxins. The herb is able to do this by stimulating the production of glutathione (an antioxidant), which plays a vital role in detoxifying the body by binding itself to pesticides, heavy metals and other toxins – until they are excreted from the body. The plant is rich in gypenosides, triterpene saponins known for its interesting anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antihyperlipidemic and antidiabetic properties.
